Partners in Caring

Partners in Caring is the title of the Respite Care for People with Alzheimer's or Related Disorders program.  It is administered through the Area Agencies on Aging for the Office of Elder Services (OES).  Consumers and families are eligible for up to $3,800 in respite care funds per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).

In this program, the consumer and family pay the respite care worker directly and then are reimbursed through the Partners in Caring program.  This program also requires a co-payment of 20% of the respite care funds that are used. You may request that this payment be waived or reduced if you meet financial guidelines.
