The Elizabeth Levinson Center offers respite for parents and caregivers, whose children cannot be served in the community and have significant medical needs.  The Elizabeth Levinson Center reserves four beds to take children living in the community who have severe and profound mental retardation and significant medical needs. Children may stay up to 20 days consecutively and a total of 60 days per year.  To obtain more information about receiving respite services through the center contact Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) office in your region.
